Egmont Textures Ltd is a locally owned and operated plastering company based in Taranaki.
My name is Chris Whale and I have owned and led the business since 2012 and i bring over 20 years of hands-on experience in the plastering industry. I am a BCITO-qualified tradesman and Licensed Building Practitioner.
We specialise in exterior cladding systems and premium interior plaster finishes, working alongside many of Taranaki’s respected builders on projects both large and small, including award-winning homes across the region.
Over the years, we have been grateful to receive recognition at the Resene Construction Systems National Conference, including Artisan of the Year and multiple Central Region awards. These acknowledgements reflect the consistent standard of workmanship, care, and professionalism we bring to every project.
We understand that cladding and plaster finishes play a significant role in the character and longevity of a home. For that reason, we focus on precise installation, quality materials, and delivering the best possible finish every time.
We proudly use Resene Construction Systems products and value their professional support and proven systems. A full plaster facade warranty is offered on completion, and we can also assist with ongoing maintenance and repainting where required.
