The Mount Stewart Centennial Memorial under went a make-over in August which saw the structure brought back to its original state of yesteryear.

Resene Construction Systems were engaged to provide the products to upgrade the structure and enhance its over-all appearance

The memorial required a total re-plaster in which Resene Construction Systems used their range of mineral based finishes to match those of the original plaster coatings. The top coats of Resene Limelock and Resene Lumbersider were then applied to enhance the over-all look of the memorial and will provide a durable and maintainable finish for many years to come.

The works were completed by Central Plastering Ltd with over 30 years experience in the industry. Steve Harley has a team of skilled Licensed Building Practitioner Plasterers and they enjoyed being a part of the project.

Shannon Quirke form the Manawatu District Council who approached Resene about the work was amazed at the transformation the memorial had under-taken and was thrilled with the end result.
