FlexCrete – sustainable construction

FlexCrete combines the durability and strength of concrete.

FlexCrete is a complete exterior plaster cladding system designed for use over new or existing structures.

FlexCrete is a medium weight, fibre reinforced, lightweight concrete panel which is screw fixed over a 20mm drainage cavity and finished with Rockcote premium coatings.

FlexCrete is sustainable as it incorporates 40% ‘new recyclable’ material in the form of flyash, this material is traditionally discarded into landfills. Flyash is recognised as a premium additive to high performance structures in the concrete industry.

FlexCrete manufacture uses less energy than other lightweight AAC products inturn the resources required to achieve our lightweight concrete is considerably less.

Milano Interiors – commercial project

The newly refurbished office space for Christchurch based solicitors Goodman Steven Tavendale Reid incorporated Rockcote Milano Interior finishes for the feature reception wall.
Milano MarbleStone, pre-coloured Resene Surrender was selected to provide a polished, solid concrete effect.
Applied over prepared GIB Board, by Christchurch based Registered Rockcote Plasterer Glen Munro (Properly Plastered).

The E2/AS1 requires the jointings and texture coatings to be tested as EM4 on the substrate on which they are intended to be applied. Monotek® Sheet Cladding has been tested with different jointing and texture coating products. These texture coating systems have passed the EM4 test requirements and comply with the E2/AS1 requirements.
