Resene, the NZ owned coatings company, announce the aquisition of Plaster Systems Ltd. (a division of Nuplex Construction Products).
According to Resene’s Managing Director and majority shareholder, Nick Nightingale ” This aquisition is a logical and timely move for our Group as it seeks to increase its presence in the construction products area, whilst Nuplex is looking to focus more on its core resin manufacturing business.
Plaster Systems will fit seamlessly into our existing operation, which currently runs under the Rockcote Resene brand, and brings with it an advanced manufacturing capability. Plaster Systems has an excellent brand, product range, and staff including an experienced and professional nationwide network of contractors.
Integration of Plaster Systems into the Resene Group will occur over the next few months. “Rockcote Resene and Plaster Systems clients will continue to receive the same high quality service and support that they have come to expect, with the offer to all our clients being extended considerably with the ultimate goal of improving the value our products and systems provide the market place” stated Mike Olds, General Manager of Rockcote Resene.
